Tiffany Zhao

       Hello, my name is Tiffany Zhao. I am a first-generation Chinese American senior at the Lucille and Jay Chanzanoff School of Business, College of Staten Island. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Marketing and will be graduating in Fall 2022.

        I was raised with the philosophy that you should treat others as you would like to be treated and that you should give back to the community by volunteering. Having been taught these principles, I continue to find ways to give back to my community and those around me through volunteer work, extra-circular activities, and simply lending a hand when required.

​

        Marketing has long intrigued me due to the way business promote their brand, the advertisements that businesses produce, and the mindset of those who create them. My passion for arts and crafts, as well as creating designs, also contributed to my interest in advertising and has driven me to engage in many different forms of artistic expression. This includes drawing on paper and on a tablet, developing tangible 2D or 3D pixel art, and engaging in a host of crafts including origami, papermaking, calligraphy, papier-mache, embroidery, and knitting. These different forms of artistic expression I had developed were infused into various class projects and into many extra-curricular activities I had participated in.

        Whenever I am not busy with school, I am usually with my cat, Spot, who loves to receive attention and food or with my family. Despite my age, I am still very much a child at heart, and I enjoy helping my friends and family, playing online games, watching popular TV shows, playing badminton, and making simple designs and animations.
